The database on leisure is based on the findings of a survey conducted in 2013 by the IGDC for an evaluation study commissioned by the Ministry for Senior Citizens. The study sought to examine leisure patterns and use of the media among senior citizens in Israel. The sample comprised 545 retirees aged 60 and over in Israel. The survey questionnaire was distributed in three languages and can be accessed for downloading. To access the data, fill in the full statement attached here and add the required acknowledgment. Data for the database on leisure patterns and use of the media among senior citizens in Israel were collected by the Israel Gerontological Data Center in an evaluation study conducted in 2014, which was commissioned and funded by the Ministry for Senior Citizens. In the evaluation study, we sought to examine the main leisure patterns of retired senior citizens in Israel, with emphasis on their use of the media.
